Ebay (http://www.ebay.com/) has more than 100 million registered users and gets more traffic than Google does. It has a great potential traffic for you.
We all thought that ebay is only for selling old stuff that we don’t use any more but it actually can be a great place for you to get traffic going to your website.
This is how it works.
- Create a simple report about your niche. It can be a list of useful resources or useful marketing tools etc, anything that is very helpful for others to use on their marketing campaign. Make sure you place a link to your website in the report.
- Put up for auction at low price and sell for below $5.00 and include resale rights to your report.
- Create an ‘About Me’ page that has a link to your site and link the page to your auctions.
- When someone buys give the download link through email, that’s how the deal is done when you buy or sell on ebay.
At most cases, people won’t mind spending a few bucks for something that is at a very low price and of course if they feel that your report is worth buying.
Your traffic will come from the buyers who see your link in the report. From people your buyers resell the report to and from people visiting your auction from the ‘About Me’ page.
Well, as you can see it’s a very simple strategy and most people don’t really know about it.
